Kisi Simonič

Three generations live and work on the Simonič farm in the heart of Slovenske gorice. Around 1980, grandfather Peter planted the first traditional tall apple trees and began pressing cider for vinegar makers across Slovenia. About twenty years ago, the family started producing its own natural vinegars. Their story is rooted in their land, perseverance and a love of nature.

Domačija Kapl

A timber house with a story dating to 1850

The Pannonian-style timber house was recorded in its present form in 1850. Part of it stands over a brick-vaulted cellar with an outside entrance. The entrance doors were renovated in 1924. In 1967, the Kapl family bought the property from the Polič family.

Restoration for guest accommodation began in 2018 under heritage conservation guidelines from Maribor. The first overnight guests arrived in 2019. Today, the homestead combines accommodation, cultural heritage and rural experiences.

Zelišča Kolarič

A tea house beneath the herb garden

Danica and Jože Kolarič welcome visitors to their herb park and tea house in Sveta Ana. With a grass roof, old timber and freshly brewed tea, this wooden earth house brings nature and a warm welcome together.

A walk among the herbs

Discover a wide variety of plants, their names and traditional uses. Paths between labelled beds lead to views across the surrounding hills.

A tea house with a story

The earth house was built using timber from a building almost 200 years old. Inside, a stone fireplace and dried herbs set the scene for learning about gathering and drying herbs, and making teas, tinctures, syrups and ointments.

Your visit

The programme includes the herb garden, tea house and apiary, an expert-led tour and a tea tasting. Please arrange your visit in advance.
